Increased levels of energy, stamina, and strength
-
Increase in lean muscle growth via development of new muscle cells
-
More skin elasticity, reducing wrinkles
-
Stronger immune system
-
Stronger sex drive
Peptide Therapy employs specific amino acid sequences (peptides) that communicate with different parts of the body. They enhance body function by binding to the receptors on the cell’s surface and signaling optimal messages for health improvements. Peptide therapy can enhance physical performance, restore emotional balance, and support mental well-being.
What is Peptide Therapy?
Peptides are short-chain amino acids found naturally in the body. [1] These acids are crucial to the performance of vital functions in the body. Peptide therapy directs the function of other cells by replacing or mimicking the functions of the naturally occurring peptides. These powerful peptides have the ability to rewrite cell chemistry and promote restoration, encourage anabolism, and enhance homeostasis. As an example, there are peptides that have helped individuals lose weight by stimulating the breakdown of visceral fat.
As of January 2015, there were over 60 FDA-approved peptide medications. Some of these drugs can be administered intravenously, topically by cream, nasal spray, or by oral tablets. All peptide therapies offered at Ontario Regenerative Medicine are approved by Health Canada.
BPC-157
BPC-157 is a synthetic peptide derived from a protective protein and has been used to promote muscle and tendon healing and prevent gastric ulcers. BPC-157 is often used to treat stomach and intestinal conditions such as inflamed intestinal epithelium (leaky gut), eosinophilic esophagitis and inflammatory bowel disease. Its abilities to improve type 1 collagen and increase blood flow via angiogenesis makes it a powerful peptide for wound healing and overall regeneration following damage. This peptide also assists in alleviating joint pain, previous injuries and those looking to improve joint mobility. This option has helped countless patients find relief from the joint pain, injuries, and organ damage.
Sermorelin Acetate (GHRP)
Sermorelin is a synthetic hormone peptide composed of 29 amino acids. Sermorelin stimulates the production of the body's own human growth hormone known as hGH. The compound is a truncated analogue of naturally occurring growth hormone releasing hormone which is produced by the brain to stimulate pituitary production and secretion of hGH. Growth hormone (hGH) is required for normal growth, bone development and regulatory effects on protein, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism. Human aging is accompanied by declining growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor -1 (IGF-1) levels. Sermorelin is commonly utilized to optimize growth hormone levels in adults, while offering a variable IGF-1 increase. Sermorelin aids in promoting a healthy immune system along with improved hormonal balance and enhanced energy which stimulates the burning of fat. Use of Sermorelin has also been shown to increase lean muscle, improved sleep quality, and enhance both memory and sex drive by stimulating the production and release of hormones by the pituitary gland.
Sermorelin is normally prescribed at night to maximize the body's natural cycle of growth hormone and stimulate the pituitary gland during REM sleep. Sermorelin has a lower risk of causing side effects because the brain automatically prevents too much of the body's own hGH from being released by the pituitary gland through feedback processes involving the inhibitory fact somatostatin.

FAQ
Does peptide therapy benefit bodybuilders and athletes?
Peptide therapy has become increasingly popular in fitness circles because of its ability to slow down the aging process and support muscle mass and endurance.
Is peptide therapy safe?
Peptide therapy contains naturally present ingredients that are FDA approved and have helped numerous patients look and feel young again.
Is peptide therapy considered healthy ?
Peptide therapy enables the healthy production of growth hormones in the body. With peptide therapy the body can achieve hormone levels that are similar to the levels patients enjoyed when they were younger.
Is peptide therapy the same as taking steroids?
While peptide therapy and steroids can both provide patients with increased muscle mass and density, their chemical composition is remarkably different. Peptide therapy offers a different option for athletes and peptide therapy does not cause many of the adverse effects associated with excessively high doses of non biologic steroid injections.
